Lanus top the Clausura table after winning their first two games of the season - the second a 1-0 victory at Independiente on Sunday. They left it late to take the three points, with substitute Mariano Pavone scoring two minutes from time, but they now sit ahead of Velez Sarsfield on goal difference. Boca Juniors played out a 0-0 draw at Union Santa Fe, while San Lorenzo and Estudiantes drew 1-1. Cristian Cellay scored for Estudiantes but was later sent off, conceding the second-half penalty that allowed Nestor Ortigoza to equalise. Elsewhere, Godoy Cruz played an hour against Racing Club with 10 men after Juan Carlos Falcon was sent off, but won the game 1-0 with an 85th-minute winner from Leonardo Sigali.
