Al-Azhar Al-Sharif has condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a police bus on Friday in Bahrain, and resulted in the death of a policeman and the injury of eight others.

In a statement issued last night, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif affirmed its support for the Kingdom of Bahrain in the face of criminal attacks aimed at subverting Bahrain’s security and stability, and spreading sedition and terror plans.

Al-Azhar Al-Sharif extended deepest condolences to Bahrain –King, government, people and the family of the late policeman, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest the soul of the deceased in eternal peace and to bless the wounded with speedy recovery and Bahrain with ever-lasting security and stability.
