Algerian fashion designer Reem Manaify

Algerian fashion designer Reem Manaify said that she released her new fashion collection for 2017 winter and fall, which will be distinct and different from what she made before. Inspired by traditional Andaluse style, Manaify used different colors and fabrics. Manaify is one of the Algerian creative designers in the world of fashion, as she grew up with her love of sewing and inherited this profession from her family. After Manaify entered the world of design, she opened her fashion house under her grandmother's name "Manouba".
Manaify has given up her career as a physician, and started her professional career as a designer, although she spent seven years studying in the Faculty of Medicine.

After her return from the eastern fashion week held in Paris, Manaify said that she is preparing a new collection for 2017 Summer. She added that her last collection presented in Paris under the name of "Walمada". Wallada was the daughter of Muhammad III of Córdoba, one of the last Umayyad Cordoban caliphs, who came to power in 1024. Wallada was an ideal beauty of the time, in addition to being intelligent, cultured and proud. She also was somewhat controversial, walking out in public in the fashion of the harems of Baghdad, she wore transparent tunics and embroidered her verses on the trim of her clothing.
Manaify said that she tried to imagine the princess Wallada's clothes and the popular designs in that era and use them in her latest collection for winter and fall of 2017, noting that it tried to re-release the fashion of Andalusian women, particularly since the traditional Algerian clothes are inspired from the Andalusian culture.
Manaify has participated in many international events, notably the fashion week in Belgium held on 23 January 2011, fashion shows in Morocco and Algeria.
