French-Algerian designer Eddine Belmahdi said that he intends to prepare a new collection for the Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi.
Belmahdi told Arabs Today that the new collection called "Miriam" reflects the beauty of Arab women, pointing out that he made 10 designs, combining Italian, French and Algerian styles to produce a unique collection different than those existing in the market.
Belmahdi noted that he tried to change the Algerian design in traditional clothing, so as to suit with any woman, whether American, French or Lebanese, pointing out that he also tried to create a mix of European and Eastern designs. He added that his previous collection released in Paris in the last year, has remarkably succeeded.
Many Arab famous artists wore dresses designed by Belmahdi, including Palestinian actress Nisreen Tafesh the ninth Oran Festival in Algeria; the Gulf artist Khadija Suleiman and Moroccan actress Sara Takia.
Eddine Belmahdi is a 27-year-old French-Algerian designer. He was born in Chlef province, western Algeria. He started his career by designing "caftan" in 2012 then moved to Paris where he opened his own fashion centre.
