Overcoming education problems in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) requires a unified vision, Kuwait's Minister of Education and Higher Education Bader Al-Essa said here on Thursday.
Talking to KUNA after his participation in the first constitutional meeting for the GCC Education Ministers Committee in Doha today, Al-Issa referred to the languidness of developing curricula in the member states.
He also underscored the dire need to develop curricula and update them at intervals, focusing on the use of modern technology.
Al-Issa urged setting a strategy that guarantees the committee powers likely to help it immediately start developing curricula, making use of others' expertise.
This will help secure normal development of the education process and provide a new generation of teachers able to serve their countries, he noted.
