A Turkish soldier was killed Monday during operations against the PKK in Turkey's southeastern Hakkari province.The soldier was wounded while transferring material from a helicopter as part of counterterrorism operations in Hakkari's Duztepe area after PKK opened fire, Turkish Anadolu Agency reported. He later died at Hakkari State Hospital where he was brought for treatment.
