Turkish artillery units

Turkish artillery units on Tuesday shelled ISIS group targets across the border in Syria, officials said, hours after rockets fired from Syria struck a Turkish border town, wounding eight people.

Turkey's Anadolu Agency, citing unidentified security sources, said the targeted ISIS positions were located around the villages of Sawran, Dabiq, Akhtarin and Ehtemlat and added that the "intensive shelling" was continuing.

Three rockets fired from Syria on Monday struck Turkey's southeastern city of Kilis, injuring 12 people
