Italy undermines reports about possible attacks in summer

Italy has undermined reports about possible attacks by Daesh terror group in summer, said an Italian official.

According to earlier media reports, German security services received information from their Italian colleagues that terrorists, posing as souvenir vendors, would carry out attacks at the beaches of Spain, France and Italy.

In statements to AKI news agency, undersecretary of tourism and culture Dorina Bianchi said that the reports were refuted on a large scale by the Italian intelligence services.

The Italian newspaper La Repubblica reported, citing a source in country's security services, that there were no terrorist threats and Italy had not exchanged information about the attacks with Germany.
