In their nefarious attempt to destabilize the Kingdom, Daesh recruited two expatriates.
Pakistani national Abdullah Gulzar Khan, 35, has been identified as the man behind the terror operation in the car park next to the US Consulate in Jeddah. He is not the first foreigner Daesh used for its crimes. The organization recruited Egyptian Talha Hisham Abdu, who was caught during his attempt to explode his explosive belt at Al-Ridha Mosque in the Al-Mahasin area, in Al-Ahsa. He was with terrorist Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Altowaijri who blew himself up at the entrance of the mosque.
The difference between the two cases is that the Pakistani had been living for years in the Kingdom, spreading poison in the very country that gave him shelter. The Egyptian was recruited and brainwashed outside the Kingdom and came to Saudi Arabia on 23/9/1434 H with his family on a family visa and exploited this generosity for the purpose of mass murder and terrorism. He was injured while trying to explode himself and now is receiving medical care and awaiting trial.
The Interior Ministry announced last July that it arrested 1,431 terrorists who were forming four terror cells in the Kingdom. The consisted of Saudis, Yemenis, Egyptians, Syrians, Jordanians, Algerians, Nigerians and Chadians.
