The Belgian police said they dismantled a third bomb at the departure lounge in Brussels airport, the US-based “Al Hurra” news channel reported.

The Belgian Interior Ministry had earlier raised the threat level was raised to the maximum after a series of attacks struck Brussels airport and the metro system, causing at least 13 deaths.

The attacks come four days after Salah Abdeslam, the prime surviving suspect for November's Paris attacks on a stadium, cafes and a concert hall, was captured by Belgian police after a shootout.
