Eight people, including two children, were killed and four others were injured when two cars collided in central Kazakhstan, emergencies ministry said on Saturday. The accident occurred in the Karaganda region late on Friday. The driver and five passengers of an Opel car, including children aged 7 and 10, as well as the driver and a passenger of a Honda car died at the scene. Four people, including three children aged 2, 7 and 11, were admitted to hospital following the crash.
