Four people were killed and seven injured when a small aircraft crashed in north-western Colombia.
The plane was en route to the city of Jurado when it crashed in a mountainous region, 18 kilometres from where it took off in Medellin, the newspaper El Colombiano reported Saturday.
The pilot appeared to have attempted an emergency landing, Freddy Bonilla, head of security at Colombia's aviation authority, said. Authorities were still investigating the cause of the crash.
