Three rockets fired from ISIS controlled territory in Syria hit Turkey's southeastern border province of Kilis. Two of the rockets hit a hilly area close to the border while the third one fell into an empty field in the neighborhood of Ekrem Cetin in the province center, according to the statement from local Governor's office.
No casualties were reported. An investigation into the incident has been launched. Meanwhile, Turkish Armed Forces responded to the attack immediately by shelling ISIS positions with howitzers and multiple rocket launchers, the army said in a statement carried by Anadolu Agency.
