Abuja - Arab Today
Nigerian army spokesman Col. Sani Kukasheka said Boko Haram terrorists stormed a military camp in the northeast, leaving 13 soldiers wounded and an unknown number missing.
The attack on the border with Niger, is the third attack on the military after months of a lull, US ABC network said on Wednesday.
The spokesman called the attack a "temporary setback" committed by "remnants of Boko Haram", pointing out that an operation is in progress to find the missing troopers and to clear the area from the group terrorists.
It is believed the attack is carried by a splinter from Boko Haram that calls itself the West Africa Province of the Islamic State.
