Twelve persons were killed and others were seriously injured when a jeep they were travelling in rammed into a bus carrying foreign tourists in Balrampur, local media reported Saturday.

The victims were returning from Devi Patan temple in Tulsipur when their jeep hit a bus carrying foreign tourists at Belha turn killing 10 persons on the spot.

The foreign tourists are safe and have been sent to their hotels.
