Zamalek’s official says they are prepared

Administrative official of Egypt’s Zamalek football team Ismail Yussef revealed that his team prepared well for the coming match against rival Ahly, saying that the team is ready for the derby scheduled to be held on Monday. He added that they are keen to win the match to meet the aspirations of their fans in all over the Arab world.

He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that Ahly is an organized team that deserved to win the league for the current season. He added that the match is considered a good preparations for the coming Arab Championship in which both Zamalek and Ahly will participate.

He stressed that both Ayman Hefny and Mohamed Ibrahim will not participate in the coming match and the Arab Championship because of their injuries. He added that they medical staff exerts increasing efforts during the current period to prepare the players for the coming matches as soon as possible.

He refused to talk about what was published over the escape of the team’s players, saying that it is important not to talk about such issues during the current critical period. He added that the coach chooses players to participate in each match upon his clear standards. He praised the recent win against Gaish football team, saying that it was important for the team to qualify for the semi-final of the Egyptian Cup.
