The White House has described this week’s “two-plus-two” talks between Russian and US top officials as constructive, Russian Itar-Tass news agency reported. This was a constructive meeting focusing on further cooperation in such important issues as security and economy, White House spokesman Jay Carney told journalists. On Friday Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu met in Washington with US Secretary of State John Kerry and Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel.
