Gaza - KUNA
Thousands of Palestinians demonstrated on Sunday to call for speeding up the reconstruction in Gaza Strip.
The protesters started a march from many areas across the Strip and concluded near Rafah crossing with Egypt.
In a press conference on the sideline of the protests, Spokesman of Palestinian National and Islamic Forces Nasser Abu Nasser demanded a swift end to Israeli siege and immediate start in the reconstruction.
He stressed that the displaced Palestinians are still demanding the right to return to their homes.
Palestinians eye stability and establishment of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, he said.
The outcome of the Israeli aggression includes reconstruction, opening border crossings, national unity and to put an end to continuation of the blockade which is a war crime against humanity as well as Palestinians.
Spokesman holds Israel fully responsible for reconstruction delay of Gaza and the blockade imposed, pointing out that the United Nations is serious about making definitive decision in order to start the process of reconstruction.
Last week, Palestinian factions affirmed in their meetings to protest today and considered it national cry to the world to heed to the suffering of the Palestinian people.
