The Qassam Mosque in Gaza was destroyed Saturday by an Israeli airstrike, two days after the end of a three-day truce in the region, UPI reported.
Medical workers retrieved three bodies from the rubble of the building.
Two others died less than a mile away after being struck while riding a motorbike. Israeli military officials claimed the two men were Hamas militants.
