Groups of extremist Jewish settlers on Monday stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque yards via the Al-Magharbah gate and roamed the mosque provocatively under the protection of the Israeli special police.
Media coordinator at al-Quds Endowments Firas Al-Dibis told Petra's reporter that a group of civilian-clothed Israeli security forces stormed Al-aqsa compound and roamed the mosque's facilities in a provocative manner, adding that they climbed the Dome of the Rock.
"Muslim worshippers stationed inside the mosque forced them to leave the holy site", Dibis added.
