At least six Palestinian villagers were injured Saturday when Israeli army forces opened fire on them near the town of Aqraba to the south of Nablus after clashes between Israeli settlers and the villagers.
Israeli settlers attacked and besieged four Palestinian famers in their farms in the town and fellow villagers gathered for their rescue, the Israeli army sent re-enforcements to the scene and began firing tear gas canisters and live and rubber-coated bullets toward the residents, Head of Aqraba Municipality Ayman Fadhel told KUNA
At least six Palestinians were wounded by the Israeli fire and many suffocation cases were also reported due to the use of gas canisters, he added.
