Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Moustafa Madboly said the ministry will finalize within the coming three years the social housing project as well as sanitation and water projects stalled since 2011.

Addressing the parliament's housing and utilities committee on Saturday, he said the ministry will also find solutions to life-threatening buildings in areas like Dweiqa.

He added that the ministry will propose a package of amendments to construction laws and old apartment-hiring contracts.
