Cairo - MENA
The spokesman for the Ministry of Transport Ahmed Ibrahim dismissed online reports on a strike by railway workers.
In statements on Sunday, Ibrahim said such rumors, which were published by Muslim Brotherhood websites, aimed at triggering a state of confusion before the country's celebration marking the January 25 Revolution.
He also denied reports that the workers cut off railroads in Kafr al Dawwar and Abu Homos in Behera governorate, pointing out that only skirmishes happened among some citizens and students over the delay of a train.
