Housing Minister Moustafa Madbouli said on Tuesday that negotiations with the World Bank over a loan worth one billion U.S. dollars will be finalized in mid-June to start the implementation of a sanitation project of villages on July 1.
In press statements, Madbouli said that the first phase of the loan will be 500 million dollars and will cover 155 villages in the governorates of Sharqiya, Beheira and Daqahliya.
This stage will take three years to complete, he said.
