Egyptian Minister Plenipotentiary Inas Zedan said the volume of Egyptian investments in Tunisia hit dlrs 2.2 million in 2015.
In statements to MENA, Zedan said the Tunisian investments in Egypt reached dlrs 35 million in the current year with most of the projects in the field of automobile industry and petroleum products.
She added that the volume of trade is not up to the level of political relations between the two countries, noting that a joint higher committee between the two countries will convene in late 2015.
As many as 18 agreements were signed between the two countries with the aim of beefing up trade exchange.
