The Egyptian artist Yousra el Lozy said that she did not attended the opening ceremony and the first days of Alexandria International Cinema Festival because of family reasons which prevented her from coming. She pointed out that she does not want to reveal the reasons behind this as it is personal. She referred during a statement to Arabstoday that she watched the participating films in the festival and she had a full view of their performances. She added that her evaluation of the films will not be influenced by her absence in the first days of the festival. It is noted that Yousra el Lozy acted in two shows in last Ramadan. The first is Khotot Hamr (Red Lines) with actor Ahmed el Sakka and the second is Vertigo with the Tunisian actress Hend Sabry.
