Jordanian actress Rakeen Saad expressed her pleasure for the success of "Sunset Oasis" series, praising the audience's reactions about her role in the series. She also thanked all the artists who contributed to the success of the series.
Saad revealed, in exclusive interview with Al Maghrib Today, that she hoped to work with great director Kamel Abu Zekry, and she managed to achieve this through playing the role of "Malika" in the series. She added that she trained well for the role, because the work took a lot of time in preparation, especially that a large part of it was filmed in the desert.
The Jordanian actress clarified that she read the original novel of Bahaa Taher to know more about the character, in addition to intensive working sessions with the full director to know the details of the character and knowledge of its all aspects.
She revealed the difficulties she faced, pointing out that she was injured in the foot because of walking barefoot in the desert, and the filming was exhausting due to the high temperature, as well as the complex character was complex and full of details. She indicated that the role she played in (Samarkand) series helped her in acting in Egypt.
Saad added that every role she played represents a technical shift in her career.
Regarding the direction of Jordanian artists to work in Egypt, she explained that Egypt is mother of land, and the basis of art, adding every Arab artist loves to work in Egypt.
She pointed out that the nature of her work as an actress makes her work in any work that suits her, whether in Egypt or abroad. As for her harmony with the artists in the work, she confirmed that she was fortunate to work in the midst of this great collection of stars.
Saad is from a artistic family, her father is a media host, her mother is interested in fashion, and she was studying the theater despite its difficulty, but it helped her in acting.
