Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab vowed on Thursday to put an end to the misery of Egyptian patients suffering from Virus C.
At a meeting with members of the Higher Viral Hepatitis Committee, also attended by Health Minister Adel Adawi, Mahlab reaffirmed his willingness to fight the disease, recalling former Egyptian success with regard to polio and Schistosoma diseases.
The premier issued directives that a survey should identify the categories which were most vulnerable to viruses and lay down relevant plans for medication.
For his part, the health minister reviewed the Committee strategy on prevention of disease.
