The number of deaths in the Mina stampede on Thursday rose to 769, Saudi Health Minister Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al Faleh said Saturday.

In a press conference at Mina Emergency Hospital, the minister added that 934 pilgrims were injured in the incident.

King salman ordered to launch comprehensive investigations into this incident, the minister said.

This year's Hajj is free of epidemic or quarantine diseases, the minister revealed.
