Yemeni Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Abu Baker Al Qirbi met here today with the US Ambassador to Yemen Gerald Firestein. During the meeting, they discussed the latest Yemeni developments, especially the steps taken so far to implement the GCC Initiative requiring all sides to cooperate fully in order to push the political process forward and ensure a peaceful transfer of power. In another meeting, Al Qirbi reviewed the Yemen\'s security situation and political process with the Head of EU delegation to Yemen Michele Cervone d\'Urso. The implementation of GCC Initiative, preparations to hold presidential elections and support for the Military Affairs Committee were spotlighted.
