Mustapha Ben Jafaar, leader of Tunisia's leftist liberal Ettakatol party, said Tuesday he would run for the presidency, in an interview with Belgian daily Le Soir. Asked in an interview on the paper's website whether he would run for president, Ben Jafaar said: "But of course! I believe my candidacy can embody a consensual will to federate and to appease."
