The General Consul of Sudan in Jeddah, Awad Hussain Ahmed, Tuesday delivered his credentials as Sudan permanent envoy of Sudan to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to the organization's Secretary General, Dr. Awad Hussein Ahmed.
The General Consul and the OIC Secretary General have discussed the situation in the region and the role of the organization in boosting the joint Islamic work.
The General Consul has affirmed Sudan keenness to support the OIC efforts and activities.
The OIC Secretary General has appreciated the distinguished relations between the organization and Sudan and the important role of Sudan at the region.
