Nablus - Ma'an
A shepherd stumbled upon the dead body of an elderly man who disappeared two months ago in the northern West Bank on Saturday morning, Palestinian police said. Ashraf Mutlaq, a police spokesman in Nablus, confirmed the body was retired security officer Nur Addin Ahmad Jumaa, 77, who went missing after leaving his home on Oct. 5. The shepherd notified police when he found the body near a bridge in al-Badhan valley, Mutlaq said. The body had decomposed but Jumaa's identity card was found in a pocket, police said. Police sent the body for a postmortem to determine the cause of death.
