President Ali Abdullah Saleh has received a number of congratulations cables on the occasion of the Eid al-Fitr. President Saleh was congratulated by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, the President of the Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
