Palestinian police Tuesday arrested a Hebron area resident who was sentenced in absentia for life in prison and hard labor after he was found guilty of spying for the Israeli occupation, according to a police statement. It said police arrested the convict, who was sentenced in 2009 in absentia, without giving more details. Chief of Hebron police, Ramadan Awwad, said that Hebron public prosecutor turned over the convict to the attorney general along with the list of charges for the trail.
