Planning Minister Hala el Said had talks with Education Development Fund Secretary General Abdel Wahab Ghandour on the future cooperation plan.
In a statement on Wednesday, the minister said the ministry's plan for realizing sustainable development at the economic and social levels depends on investment in education.
She said education needs huge investments, cautioning that investment shortage in education would be pricey in the future.
She said developing technical education in view of market needs represents a top priority for the ministry.
She hailed the efforts being exerted to develop education, highlighting the importance of benefiting from international expertise.
She lauded the project of comprehensive technological complexes as an example that could be adopted nationwide.
Technological complexes were set up in Cairo's Amiriya district, Assiut's Abu Ghalib district and Fayyoum.
She noted that there are plans to establish technological complexes in Badr and 6th of October cities.
