The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) suspended its participation in the local elections due on May 13 in a protest over suppressing a march in Ramallah on Sunday.

The march was staged in solidarity with a Palestinian youth who was killed by the Israeli forces last week.

A PFLP member said that the PFLP will take political steps against suppression.
