Egypt\'s new ambassador to Kuwait, Abdulkarim Suleiman on Saturday extolled the distinct Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations at all levels. Abdulkarim told reporters today that the Egyptian foreign policy after the revolution of January 25 has become completely independent and this independence will result in great openness in all areas with various countries, including of course the State of Kuwait. He said that there are real investment opportunities in Egypt after the revolution that will be available to Kuwaiti businessmen following the disposal of the monopoly systems which used to hinder foreign investment. He added that he was given the green light to demolish and rebuild the embassy building and residence in Kuwait and construct a newer buildings as to befit the status and role of Egypt after the revolution of January 25. He pointed out that preparations to do so are underway with the concerned Kuwaiti authorities. He assured the Egyptian workers in Kuwait that the conversion of the Consulate General of Egypt to a consulate does not mean in any way reducing the consular services provided to the Egyptians, as the number of workers in the consulate is the same.
