Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad affirmed that the aim of what is happening in the region and the terrorist war on Syria is to create conditions to facilitate the passage of the decision to recognize Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the capital of the Israeli occupation entity.

In an interview with the Iranian al-Alam news TV channel which aired on Thursday, Mikdad said that Syria has made considerable achievements in its ongoing war against terrorism and continues eliminating the remaining pockets of terrorists in some areas in Syria, in cooperation with allies and friends.
