A bid by an Asian passenger to smuggle crystal drug was foiled Wednesday by Dubai Customs at Terminal 2 of the Dubai International Airport, police said. The 2.35kg of drugs which were concealed in a professional way inside a bag were brought in by the passenger from his home country for sale to someone in another Asian country, according to Director of Airports Operations at Dubai Ali Al Mugahwi. The passenger was referred by Dubai Customs to the Anti-Narcotics Section of the General Department of Dubai Police.
