Kuwait\'s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah has resigned, government spokesman Ali Al-Rashed said Tuesday. The resignation was accepted, Al-Rashed said in a statement to the official KUNA news agency, without elaborating reasons for the move. Sheikh Mohammad is a senior member of the ruling Sabah family, which has ruled the oil-rich Gulf Arab emirate for more than 250 years. Sheikh Mohammed became the country\'s deputy prime minister and foreign minister in February 2005.
