The President of the Republic Omar Bashir arrived in Amman, Jordan, evening Tuesday heading Sudan delegation that takes part in the 28th Arab League summit, which kicks off here on Wednesday.
King Abdala received Bashir and the accompanying delegation at Aliaa international airport along with the Secretary General of the Arab League, Ahmed Abul Ghaith, as well as the senior Jordanian officials and the Sudanese delegation that took part in the preparatory meetings for the summit.
It is to be pointed that the summit will review a number of issues including Arab food security initiative launched by president Omar Bashir, and also it will discuss the rehabilitation of the Sudan, which was adopted by the Arab league past summit.
The summit will also talk about peace realization in Syria, Somalia, Yemen and Libya.
President Bashir who is accompanied by the Minister for the president affairs, Dr. Fadul Abdalla Fadul, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Professor Ibrahim Ghandour, and the Minister of Finance, Badr Eddin Mahmoud.
It is to be noted that the president was seen off at Khartoum airport by the first vice president of the Republic, Bakri Hassan Salih and senior government officials at Khartoum airport, Tuesday afternoon.
