Japan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Koichiro Gemba begins tomorrow, Wednesday a three-days visit to Egypt. A Japanese diplomatic source said that Koichiro will discuss with his Egyptian counterpart Mohamed Kamel Amr and a number of senior officials the assistance that Japan can provide to Egypt for the democratic transition process, economic and social reform, as well as establishing relationships with the Egyptian political blocs. The source added that the talks will also address major regional and international issues, including the peace process in the Middle East, and the developments of the Iranian file.
