His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa returned today to the Kingdom of Bahrain after an official visit to the friendly Japanese Empire upon an invitation from HM the Japanese Emperor Akihito, where HM the King and the Japanese Emperor had discussions on bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, as well as discussions with the Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiko Noda. A number of agreements and memorandums of understanding between the two countries were signed in various fields of politics, defense, economy and industry. His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa followed his visit to Japan with one to the friendly Kingdom of Thailand, where he met with Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn and Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, further discussions were also made on good bilateral relations between the two friendly countries. HM the King left the Kingdom of Thailand earlier today and was seen off by Tep Tau Wanju member of the Advisory Board Member of HM King King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand, Thai Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul, Bahrain's Ambassador to Thailand Adel Yousif Sater, and Nahrung General Director of Middle East and Africa at the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs and also members of the Bahraini Embassy in Thailand.
