Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohammed Kamil Amr met on Monday with the Special Envoy of Chinese Foreign Minister Chen Xiao Dong, who is currently visiting Cairo. Spokesman for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry Amr Roshdy said that the meeting had focused on following the outcomes of Foreign Minister Mohammed Amr visit to China last month, during which it was agreed to promote trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and to increase Chinese investment in Egypt, especially in areas of renewable energy and oil and gas exploration.
