Egypt's Ambassador to Lebanon Nazih el Nagary held an expanded meeting with several travel agents in Lebanon to discuss plans to promote tourism in Egypt and increase the number of Lebanese tourists to Egypt, especially in Luxor, Aswan and Hurghada.
In exclusive statements to MENA correspondent here following the meeting, Nagary said that he reviewed the embassy's efforts in facilitating procedures to issue visas.
The owner of one of the travel agents in Lebanon said that the meeting with the Egyptian ambassador is the third of its kind as part of constant coordination with the Egyptian Embassy to increase the number of Lebanese tourists to Egypt.
Regional director of EgyptAir Ahmed Saqr, who attended the meeting, said that the meeting aimed to promote tourism movement to Luxor, Aswan and Hurghada through discount offers on flight tickets of EgyptAir.
