A fire that broke out around 6am Thursday at a food industrial unit in Dubai Industrial Area was brought under control after more than four hours but was still cooling late in the day. It left an entire building destroyed but no injuries, according to Dubai Civil Defence. Four stations Firefighters and vehicles from four stations, Manara, Barsha, Rashidiya and Quoz, took part in putting out the fire, which destroyed the building of Do Freeze food manufacturing company, a civil defence spokesperson said. The building consisted of six parts, with three storage rooms, as well as packaging, freezing and manufacturing units under one roof, which were all destroyed to various degrees, along with the entire contents of the store. The administration building next to it was saved. The fire was brought under control around 10.11am, while cooling operations were still under way late in the day.
