At least four Egyptians were killed and 16 injured when a travel bus turned over on the Cairo-Suez motorway, security sources announced Friday. In a press statement, Suez Governorate's Security Chief Major General Tarek Al-Gazar said that the four were killed on the spot after the crash and the injured were transferred to a nearby hospital.
He noted that four of the injured were in a critical condition.
Road accidents are common in Egypt due to badly maintained roads and poor enforcement of traffic laws.
