Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Bahraini Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, expressed his hopes for the new phase in the Arab world crystallizing in new mature economic thought. According to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), Prince Salman asserted that Arab economies are in need to development which in turn would reap benefits for the people of Arab nations and that activity shall not be solely restricted to politics because economy is the source of power and strength to our countries and people. He made these remarks during a meeting here tody with Sudanese National Assembly Speaker Ahmed Ibrahim al-Tahir who is currently visiting Manama. Working towards food security in the Arab world needs more planning and coordination at all levels, Prince Salman said . During the meeting , they reviewed the recent situation in the Kingdom of Bahrain, reiterating Bahraini people\'s ability to surmount and overcome all negative impacts in the aftermath of recent unfortunate events. Al-Tahir on his turn expressed his country\'s support and assistance to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
