Lebanese army intelligence seized on Monday a pickup truck in Beirut, loaded with arms and anti-tank ammunition, containing two young Lebanese and a Syrian, as it was moving towards the Lebanese-Syrian border, according to the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA), which is supervised by the ministry of information. The agency did not publish further details; however there is an understanding that the arrested men might have been involved in smuggling operations on the Lebanese-Syrian border before events flared in Syria.
